Susan Erickson began the Plum Tree Flower Farm in 2007. She began with a small flower drying operation. Her love of flowers has grown into a fresh cut operation that produces flowers for many local floral shops and grocery stores. She has become the go-to place for brides, wedding floral designers and D.I.Y. floral enthusiasts.

Norman Erickson is the heart of the farm. He has been in farming all his life. Plum Tree Flower Farm is part of a century old homestead that originally belonged to his Grandfather. Love of the land runs deep in the Erickson family. Norm is operations manager. He makes sure all of the plots are prepared and the crops are irrigated and properly cared for.

Days on a flower farm starts early and end late. The beginning of the season is the big tulip harvest in May. Then planting the new plants raised in the greenhouse keeps everyone hopping until June. Beautiful delphiniums, peonies, sweet peas, daisies.......The full list is over 100 varieties. The full flush of flowers is July to season's end at the first frost sometime in September.
Plan on making a visit. We would love to see you. |
